At Mullion Pharmacy we provide both free NHS vaccination services for eligible patients and private vaccination options for those who do not qualify for NHS funding.

Free NHS Flu Vaccine
You are eligible for a free NHS flu jab if you meet any of the following criteria:
- Age: 65 years of age or older.
- Medical Conditions: Adults aged 18 to 64 with qualifying long-term health conditions (e.g., asthma, COPD, heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, or a weakened immune system).
- Pregnancy: Pregnant at any stage of pregnancy.
- Care & Living Arrangements: Residents in long-stay care homes, carers receiving Carer’s Allowance, or primary carers for an elderly/disabled individual.
- Household Contacts: Individuals living with someone who is severely immunocompromised.
- Occupational Risk: Frontline health and social care workers.
- Homelessness: Rough sleepers and people using night shelters or homeless hostels
COVID-19 Vaccination Eligibility
Free NHS Seasonal Booster
NHS seasonal COVID-19 boosters are offered to high-risk groups during seasonal campaigns. You are eligible for an NHS booster if you are:
- Aged 75 or older.
- Resident in a care home for older adults.
- Aged 6 months and older with a weakened immune system (immunosuppressed due to conditions such as active cancer treatment, organ transplants, or biological therapies)*
* Please note our pharmacy can only vaccinate 18+ years old
Having NHS Flu and Covid vaccination together
It is safe and convenient to receive both your flu and COVID-19 vaccinations at the same time if you are eligible for both.
Co-administering these vaccines saves you multiple trips and ensures early protection before winter virus activity peaks.
Child Flu vaccination
Flu spreads quickly among children and can lead to serious complications, but protecting your family is quick, gentle, and hassle-free. Here at Mullion Pharmacy, we provide friendly, expert flu vaccinations for eligible children right in your local community.
How Is the Vaccine Given?
For most children, there are no needles!
The vaccine is a quick, painless nasal spray squirted gently into each nostril. It acts fast, doesn’t hurt, and provides strong protection throughout the flu season.
Who Can Get Their Flu Vaccine at Mullion Pharmacy?
- Toddlers (Aged 2 & 3): Children aged 2 or 3 years old on 31 August can get their free NHS flu vaccine directly with us at the pharmacy.
- At-Risk Children (Aged 2–17): Children with underlying long-term health conditions (such as severe asthma, diabetes, or weakened immune systems) remain a priority for protection.
- School Catch-Up Clinics (Dec 1 – Mar 31): If your child missed their vaccination day at school, don’t worry! Catch-up vaccinations for school-aged children will be available from 1st December until the end of March.
